Frequently Asked Questions and Support
Everything you need to know about TrustNous.
Privacy — What data do you have on me?
How come there are no providers in my region?
Once you get access to the network, you need to invite friends, neighbours, colleagues, or family members so they can reply to your request for a specific provider (realtor, carpenter, plumber, electrician, etc.).
How long does it take for someone invited to join?
As soon as they receive the invitation email, once they complete the onboarding screen, they will have full access to the system.
Can we provide feedback on a service provider?
Yes — it will only be seen by other network members unless the provider is also a member. It's a star system (maximum 5 stars), you may add comments and attach photos of the work done. Your comments will be seen by everyone, so please be respectful in your feedback.
Can I be in 2 different regions or provinces on the network?
You may create requests or view providers in other regions. To change region or province, update your profile, save it, and you will be active in the new region. When you want to go back, simply change your profile again.
Can I receive push notifications from the app?
Yes. Enable them in your device's Settings under Notifications, then select the TrustNous application.
Can I run the app on an Android device?
For the moment the application is only available for iOS devices — iPhone, iPad, and Mac M1 and newer.
Can I delete a provider from the list?
You can only delete a provider that was added by you. On the provider list, swipe left on the provider and tap the delete button. This will also delete all related ratings and cannot be undone.
Why is my name associated with everything I do on the app?
The goal of TrustNous is for every user to feel confident when choosing a service provider. Having the name of the person who added the provider builds trust and encourages members to take their recommendations seriously.
How can I be sure a member is trustworthy if I don't know them?
In the app, click on any names to see their network links — who invited them. The Network Tree gives you visibility into the full chain of trust. That said, TrustNous is not responsible for any decisions you make; always do your own due diligence on any provider.
